Rumpelstiltskin is probably the strangest fairy tale I was told as a kid. It goes like so:
So there is this poor miller with this really gorgeous daughter. He needed to go to the king to talk with him, i guess about miller things. To sound more impressive to the king the miller told him his daughter could spin straw into gold. The king said this sounds totally cool (aka I want your daughter's never-ending gold). So the daughter is brought in and put into a room halfway full with straw and a spinning wheel. The king said, "If you spin all of this straw into gold by morning, I'll spare your life" and locked the door.
The girl was extremely distraught, I mean she was sold into slavery for by her father and now she had to do the impossible task of making gold appear. So to say the least, she was crying. A little man who heard her crys said, "Why do you cry, girl?". The girl responded, "Because I have to turn this straw into gold". So the little man asked, "What will you give me if I spin this into gold for you?" She gave him her necklace and he got to work.
The next morning the king saw the gold and rejoiced. He put her into another room with double the straw that was in the other and said, "Turn this into gold, or you'll die" and locked the door. She again scared started crying and the little man appeared. He asked what she had and she gave him a ring. He spinned the straw into gold and left.
The king arrived amazed in the morning. He put her in a room with impossible amounts of gold and said, "Spin this into gold and you'll be my wife." His thought being that he could marry no richer a woman. So again at night, the little man showed up and asked what she could give him. She said she had nothing. He responded, " Well, when you get married to the king, give me your first child." She agreed not thinking that would ever happen so he spinned the straw.

call 9/11
So 9-11. That day was actually pretty crazy. First, it is my step-brother's birthday. So that sucked for him. Second, my dad was on a flight to New York that day (luckily, it was much later that day).
The week before a guy at my school had died in a drunk driving accident. Septemeber 11th was also his memorial service. My whole 4th grade class and I walked up to the auditorium and sat during this extremely sad service then back into the classroom to find out New York was under attack... really was rough.
On top of everything, my teacher at the time, Mrs. Taylor, had a brother in the FDNY. He ended up passing when the 1st tower collapsed.
My school was later dismissed and my mother came and picked me up. I think we went to Winn-Dixie or Kroger and got my step-brother a Key Lime Pie (his favorite) for his birthday.
The whole experience was pretty scary for me. I had these reoccurring nightmares about Bin Laden living in my basement. Really bizarre.
I don't really believe America overall to be anymore safer post-9/11. I guess security crack-down on airlines has probably prevented some attacks. But really I believe that all things the government got away with because of fear, like the Patriot Act, have affected us negatively.
What really makes me sad is how people have already (only 8 years later) started to forget about the attacks.

Memoir in few words
So I'm to describe myself in 10 words or less. Here's what I came up with.
Applied to Hogwarts, waiting for letter.
but I also came up with this.
Don't worry, uncertainty plagues us all.
